Things to Read & People to Know.
In her book of essays, In Search of Our Mothers' Gardens, Alice Walker writes, "I write all the things I should have been able to read." Even those of us who have been involved in Christian communities for a long time don't always have access to all the ideas, theologians, theologies, and books we should have been able to read.
Here are some people and writings that consider the intersections of gender, faith, and other identities. I think they're important and seemingly absent from popular, Christian discourse. Other projects and organizations I believe foster intersectional discussion about gender, faith, and other identities are listed here as well.
